Fashionable shops, restaurants and wide sandy beaches of Le Touquet are only 35 minutes away and there are some good golf courses in the area.  There are also excellent cycle routes in the surrounding countryside and the house has a large garage so several bicycles can be stored.  The house is conveniently located for visits to the Somme Museum and Cemetery, and is only one and a half hours from Lille, Ypres and Flandres. There are also many riding stables in the area.
