Abs A concentrated abdominal workout.
Body Combat Using a mixture of various martial arts techniques including kick boxing and Tai chi, very fast, furious and will raise your heart rate, burn fat and tone arms, legs and butt!
Body Sculpt/conditioning Designed to tone and improve definition in a highly motivating, choreographed class using weights.
Bring the Baby Classes New mothers can come along with their baby. Babies brought to the class stay in their prams at the side, or for floorwork classes can be positioned by the mother on the mat. These classes are also open to non-members.
Bums & Tums Muscular strength and endurance exercises working the thighs, back, bottom, abs. In this class you may use steps, bands, dumbells and gravity. This is a low impact workout using very little aerobic moves. Suitable for all levels.
Cardio Conditioning A combination of high and low impact easy to follow moves to raise the heart rate, followed by a conditioning section using bands or weights to tone all over and ending with floor work.
Hi low Aerobics This class is a good cardiovascular workout with choreographed high and low impact moves. This class is suitable for all levels as the choreography can be adapted.
Pilates Pilates mat work strengthens the deep abdominal and back muscles. Improves co ordination, body and posture awareness and flexibility at a controlled pace.
Running Club The run takes place in Highbury fields and you should have some experience of running outside or on a treadmill. Come rain or shine its lovely to enjoy the outdoor air!
Shape Up With Weights A good class for everyone. Builds muscle, stamina, strength, cardio vascular fitness plus tones and shapes the whole body.
Step Using the Reebok step, this class is excellent for toning and cardio vascular fitness.
Circuit A 45 min blast using weights and steps at various 1 min stations (no choreography is used) suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Studio Cycling A fast fat-burning class using the latest Keiser M3 bikes. Suitable for all levels
T BOW A new versatile and easy to use board and band that will allow you to work on your aerobic, strength and flexibility
Total Body Workout A class working the whole body this could include using steps, weights, bands. A good cardiovascular and toning class suitable for all levels.
Yoga An integrated system of flowing postures and breathing techniques. This brings strength, flexibility and stress release.
Yolates A combination of pilates and yoga poses, to improve strength and flexibility. Excellent to correct posture and can be very helpful with many back problems.
